Good to know.
About the widget, how answers stay accurate, setting up, billing and privacy.
The widget
What does Label add to a product page?
A short AI summary, the facts behind it under More details, suggested questions shoppers can tap, and a box for their own questions. It sits in the page, as a floating panel, or both, in your store’s font and colors.
Will it slow my pages down?
No. The script loads after your page and never holds it up. Content that’s already written is served from the edge, close to the shopper.
Which languages does it speak?
English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Dutch. The page’s language picks the widget’s, and summaries and answers are written in it. Other languages get the widget in English.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. The same widget adapts to small screens, works from the keyboard, and follows the shopper’s reduced-motion setting.
Accuracy
Where do the answers come from?
From your store: the product page, your catalog where there is one, and the facts you add in Knowledge, like shipping, returns and sizing. Every answer says which. When your data doesn’t cover a question, Label says so instead of guessing, and the question shows up in your dashboard. How answers stay accurate
Can it make things up?
Every answer has to cite your data, and Label checks quoted sources word for word before showing it; an answer that fails is written again, not shown. Price, stock, shipping, returns, warranty, compatibility, ingredients, allergens and safety only ever come from your data. Like any AI it can still get something wrong, so every view says it’s AI-generated, shoppers can flag an answer, and you can edit anything.
Can I change what it says?
Yes. Every summary and answer is in your dashboard. Edit one and it’s locked: Label never rewrites it. You set the tone, from Precise to Playful, write store instructions, and try changes in the Playground before you publish them.
Setup
Do I need to upload my catalog?
No. On any website, Label reads each product page itself. The WooCommerce plugin, and the Shopify app when it launches, also keep your catalog in sync as products change.
Is there a Shopify app?
It’s built and on its way to the Shopify App Store. Until it’s listed, a Shopify store can use the one-line script like any other website.
Can I use Label on more than one store?
Yes. One account holds all your stores. Each gets its own dashboard, settings and plan.
Billing
What happens when the trial ends?
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial with 3,000 credits. On WooCommerce and other sites you add a card at checkout and the plan starts when the trial ends, unless you cancel first. Shopify stores will be billed through Shopify.
What is a credit?
Credits measure AI use. A new summary or answer uses about 16 credits. Anything already written is served from cache and uses none, however many shoppers read it.
What if I run out of credits?
Buy a pack of 5,000, 20,000, 100,000 credits, which lasts 12 months, or turn on auto top-up with a monthly cap you set. Content that’s already written keeps showing either way.
What if I cancel?
The widget turns off at once. Your store’s content is kept for 30 days in case you come back; after that it’s deleted, apart from the billing records the law requires us to keep.
Privacy
What about shoppers’ privacy?
Shoppers don’t sign in, and the widget sets no cookies. Typed questions are stored with email addresses and long numbers removed, and kept for 90 days so you can see what people ask.
What data does Label get from my store?
Product data: what’s on your product pages, or your catalog from the plugin or app, and what you write in the dashboard. Never customer or order data.
Still wondering?
The quickest answer is a trial on your own products.
